Main Technical Parameters Of Transformer

Transformers in the specified use environment and operating conditions, the main technical data are generally labeled on the nameplate of the transformer. Mainly includes: Rated capacity, rated voltage, rated frequency, rated performance data (impedance voltage, no-load current, no-load loss and load loss) and total weight.

A, rated Capacity (KVA): Rated voltage. The capacity to be transported in continuous operation under rated current.

b, rated Voltage (KV): Transformers can withstand the operating voltage for a long time. In order to adapt to the needs of the power network voltage change, the high-voltage side of the transformer is divided tap, adjust the high-voltage winding turn number to adjust the low-voltage side output voltage.

C, rated current (a): Transformers under rated capacity, allow long-term passing of the current.

E, no-load current (%): When the transformer at the rated voltage two times side no-load, a winding through the current. Generally expressed as a percentage of the rated current.

F, load loss (kw): The transformer two times winding short-circuit, at a single winding rated at the point of access to the rated current, at this time the power consumed by the transformer.

G, impedance voltage (%): The transformer two times winding short-circuit, in a winding slowly rising voltage, when the short-circuit current of two windings is equal to the nominal value, at this time the voltage applied at the side. Generally expressed as a percentage of the rated voltage.

H, phase number and frequency: three-phase and single-phase. China National standard frequency f is 50Hz. Foreign countries have 60Hz (such as the United States).

I, temperature rise and cooling: the difference between the transformer winding or the upper oil temperature and the ambient temperature of the transformer is called the temperature rise of the winding or the upper oil surface. The oil-immersed transformer winding temperature ceiling value is 65K and the oil surface temperature rise is 55K. Cooling methods also have a variety of: oil-soaked cold, forced air cooling, water-cooled, tubular, chip and so on.

J, Insulation level: There is a standard of insulation. The insulating level is described as follows: The high-voltage rated voltage is 35kV, and the low-voltage rated voltage is 10kV.
